Winter’s Wu-Wei | A Mid-Winter Immersion
When we move from the dreaming without push or strain, we enter the Tao of Winter Wu-Wei.
In the valley of Winter, the landscape of ourselves is laid bare; snow-covered, silent and packed tight into itself like the seed of a Great Oak. And it’s wholly possible to wade into the deep and meet the current that moves there.
Effortless, uncomplicated, grace-filled.
In this 3-hour yoga, breathwork and sacred-art workshop on the NSW South Coast, we have time and space to rest in the wisdom of the Water element and evolve our understanding of Wu-Wei, the action that arises from alignment.
What to expect
Low lights, heaters on, and Roasted Barley Tea as we down-shift the nervous system and honour Winter’s Yin
Follow the mythos of The Way in a slow Winter-Deep movement practice focusing on Forward Folds and Inversions. Lengthening the Jing pathways (Kidney/Bladder), decompressing the spine and building quiet strength
Pranayama & Still-Water Meditation dropping into effortless awareness, clearing the mental drag, restoring the energetic reserves
Oolong tea and black sesame sweets poured over conversation and oracle cards as we make the transition from practice to creation.
Sacred Mandala Creation (1 hr) – Weaving the formless into form.
