The Way of Nature

Travelling with the seasons

The Practice of Change

Welcome, Fellow Traveller, to the Year of the Fire Horse

These pages chart a path through the Way of Nature, where the ebb and flow of the seasons return us to an older rhythm for living. Here, the natural world becomes guide and companion through the cycles of growth, healing, and transformation.

Drawing on yoga, breathwork, Taoist philosophy, Five Element wisdom, mythology, folklore, ritual, and astronomical reflection, the work moves through us in body, psyche, and spirit, inviting a deeper relationship with ourselves, the living world, and the patterns that have always connected them.

Whether you come to read, practise, reflect, or gather, I hope these pages leave you more deeply rooted in the natural world and more fully at home within yourself.

Lets begin

The Body

Like the life cycle of a peach, this is how the body translates its environment.

The body understands the language of the seasons long before the mind does.

Yoga, breathwork, and embodied ritual practice help us interpret its ancient language.

The Psyche

Like water carving out the ravines, this is how nature shapes our inner world.

Through seasonal reflection, mythology, folklore, and the wisdom of the Five Elements, we begin to give language to the deeper patterns moving within us.

The Spirit

Just as a rainbow translates light we too move with the colours of the unseen.

There are dimensions of life that reveal themselves through stillness, symbol and inner work. Here we cultivate a relationship with mystery as naturally as we cultivate a garden.

Experience the Way

The Way of Nature is less a philosophy to understand and more a relationship to enter.

With gratitude for the Waters of the Booderee Coast (Jervis Bay) and the Earth under my feet.
Thanks to the teachers and Elders of all lineages, past and present, Eathed and Galactic, who cleared the way that we might follow.
To the land, the sea, the green kingdom and all its creatures seen and unseen.
May we each be known.
May we give thanks.
