The Way of Letters
Handwritten Spiritual Reflections

Sepia-toned ancient rock texture used as a mystical backdrop for The Way of Letters epistolary sanctuary landing page

A monthly salon of words on actual paper posted to an actual person - YOU

Seeking a like-minded Beta Testing community

Once a month over the Southern Spring Im offering the sweet nostalgia of a handwritten letter delivered to your home. Pages upon which Ill offer musings over culture, cosmology and our communities most pressing questions on life, loss and love with unflinching honesty, philosophy, personal reflection and lyrical grace.

This is a pen on paper experience, intimate and delivered to your door in an envelope by an actual postman.

Leaning into all I have gathered in the navigation of grief, the channeling of inspiration, and the hope that lives there still, these letters come to deepen us into the lived experience, away from the screen and the data currency of our times. (Peruse the current blog articles)

This is about calling in real connections between Souls seeking solace in nature, myth, and the alchemy of human connection. In part for our shared evolution, and as an act of rebellious healing - all for the cost of a stamp.

Enrolments are now open for this one and only Beta test
- three months completely free -
to see if this vision of mine has ground.

This is not another Newsletter
It’s an epistolary sanctuary.

I wanted to do something with no PR gloss, no algorithm, and no corporate veneer. I wanted to show up as just one artist wrestling with life’s mysteries, and I wanted to invite you along for the trip.

What I offer are handwritten reflections direct from my desk without algorithms or cookies, expectations or ads. Just the profound communion of question and reply, paper, pen and Australia Post.

This is an intimate correspondence arriving in your mailbox, a missive, and a deeply personal exchange between you, me, seekers like us, and the cosmic soup.

Raw Honesty & Unfiltered Insight.

Truth

Each monthly letter contains real questions, curiosities, confessions and wonderments along with my own unguarded reflections, tall tales and unsalted truths.

How the beta will work - You ask. I write. We grow

This is a Curated Sanctuary. Every month, you’ll receive a handwritten letter—no filler—where question earn their place and answers carry weight. Ink on paper, stories, insights, and an invitation to wander deeper into your own heart.

  1. Sign up to fill in the form with your details and the questions you’d like to offer up - think courageously, creatively and of love, loss and nature.

The Letters will be mailed out between the 25th and the 30th. Don’t worry, I’ll nudge you as we go.

  2. You’ll receive your letter in the mail, and in the margins, you’ll recognise our shared longing: for meaning, connection, and the space to ask the big questions. September, October and November only. Join any time.

  3. In return, I’ll send a short survey at the end of the 3-month beta cycle, where it’s your turn to wax. What you offer here will help me decide if this vision of mine has real legs, meets real hearts, and can stand on its own as a meaningful thing in the world.

For privacy, all questions addressed in the letters will be done so anonymously. For transparency, I won’t be handwriting individual letters to each of you, but I will be thoughtfully penning one every month that will go out to all on the beta list.

All the words and trips to the post office will be made by me. My name is Yolande, I am a senior yoga teacher, Five Element Theory lecturer, Yoga Teacher Trainer, writer and spiritual dog of war.
In recent years, I recognised in myself an increasingly restless exhaustion with the two-dimensionality of the digital world. I felt like I needed to foster more meaningful connections and a more lived intimacy with travellers of the same ilk. This was what birthed my work through The Way of Nature, and it’s the same principles that underpin my urge to correspond slowly, deeply and meaningfully.
