The Wood Element
A Pivot to Radiance
We have lived among increasing social and economic stagnancy over the last ten years; the boom of the 80s, the greed and no-consequence strategies of the 90s, and the rise of mega-corporations like Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Monsanto through the 2000s, hoarding wealth and political influence.
When viewed retrospectively, the acceleration is both obvious and deliberate as the Fire / Yang principle burns itself to ash in an inferno that could never be sustained. And so 2020 brought us the Autumn and Winter of lockdowns and strip-backs, where everything was forced to reorganise itself, the underbelly was exposed, and control began slipping.
Now, as we shift through the ashes of our old lives, at last realising they won’t return as they once were, we are living through one of the largest cycles of change we have known in several lifetimes. It’s here that the Wood Element wants us to feel and know its influence.
Wood is our rewiring. It is the vision we hold for a new future, the softness we possess to open to it, and the wisdom and clarity to make the right choices at the right time so that it comes to Be.
In this piece, we take up the mantle of increasing Light on the planet, how the Wood Element is urging us to respond to it, and how this pivot might uplift and expand our Soul potential, elevate our spiritual nature into new dimensions of understanding and knowledge, and transform the foundations of our everyday lives.
This is a period of increased Light and ascension. The Wood Element comes as both lantern and torchbearer, teaching us how to transition through difficult times and rewrite the definition of what it means to be human.
